My experience with Hackathons

Hey there everyone, I am Rohit Kumar Saini, and I am here to share a little story about my hackathons experience with you all.

So yeah, the story begins in the month of May 2021. It was lockdown due to COVID-19 and I was busy sharpening my skills. But, I was not able to apply those in the real world. Then, I came to know about Hackathons. I thought this will be like some other workshops or something (i was not aware of them), but when I started participating in them my point of view completely changed. I got to learn a lot of things, I made a lot of new friends, did many projects with them, solved some real-world problems. And it was an amazing experience that I never had before.

I also participated in MLH-INIT22. And this was the most amazing experience ever. It is a week-long program in which we get new challenges daily and after completing them we earn points for our guild. This was literally amazing. And the daily new challenges motivated me to do more and more. Everyone should try it once.

In the end, I just want to say that, if you also find difficulties in applying your skills in real-world problems then you should definitely explore Hackathons. And yes the most important thing, NEVER STOP LEARNING.
